A design flaw in the Chocolate LG makes a fundamental part to prematurely wear out and render the phone useless. That part is the flex ribbon cable. Although hard to find... it is pretty easy to do the fix. This is a condensed tutorial of how to open the Chocolate LG (TG800/KG800) to change the flex ribbon cable.
